The Evolution of Innovation
- Hermann Hauser | Amadeus Capital Partners
- PhD Summer School 2016
Innovation has been at the heart of human progress for centuries. The nature and pace of innovation, however, has changed dramatically over time. Hermann Hauser’s talk will start with a survey of innovation since the invention of the wheel and end with remarks on the latest advances in machine leaning and artificial intelligence. The increased speed of these advances makes it necessary to take a more pro active approach to societal and ethical issues in an expected era of Superintelligences.
