Marianna Pantouvaki

概要

I am a Principal Researcher at Microsoft Research Cambridge, focusing on advanced integrated opto-electronics for Future AI Infrastructure.

My background is on III-V and silicon photonics for optical transmission systems. Previously I worked in imec, Belgium, developing silicon photonics for Optical I/O and advanced copper interconnects. Before that, I was a post-doctoral researcher at the Centre for Integrated Photonics in Ipswich, UK, developing high-speed tuneable lasers. I obtained my PhD in Electronic Engineering and MSc in Telecommunications from University College London, UK, and a BSc in Physics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. My research interests are advanced photonics devices, packaging and optical technologies for novel applications.
