Avrilia Floratou

Avrilia is a Principal Engineering Manager on the Fabric Data and GenAI team, leading initiatives in AI-powered data transformations and intelligent agents for data querying and exploration.

 Previously, she was as a Principal Scientist Manager at Microsoft’s Gray Systems Lab (GSL), focusing on data management and the application of LLMs to enhance user productivity in areas such as data integration, data exploration, and code migration. Her  interests span large-scale stream processing, benchmarking, and performance optimization of data frameworks. Avrilia holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
