She received her Ph.D. in Informatics from Kyoto University in 2007. From 2010, she worked at Kyoto University as a lecturer and later as an associate professor. In 2015, she was awarded a JSPS Research Fellowship and conducted research as a visiting scholar at the University of Sussex in the UK, accompanied by her two children. She joined the University of Tokyo as an Associate Professor in 2019 and became a Professor at the Information Technology Center in 2024. Her research focuses on multimedia information processing, with a particular emphasis on deep learning techniques for text and image analysis. She is also interested in AI technologies that support dietary practices.

2007年 京都大学 情報学研究科にて博士（情報学）を取得。2010から6年間、京都大学で特定講師のち准教授を務めた。2015年からJSPS特別研究員となり、二人の子供を連れて英国サセックス大学にて客員研究員。2019年東京大学 情報理工学系研究科 准教授、2024年 東京大学 情報基盤センター教授。専門はテキストと画像を対象とした深層学習技術を中心とするマルチメディア情報処理処理分野。AIによる「食」の支援技術に興味を持つ．

Yuki Arase is a professor at the School of Computing, Institute of Science Tokyo (aka Tokyo Institute of Technology), Japan. After obtaining her PhD in Information Science from Osaka University (2010), she worked for Microsoft Research Asia, where she started NLP research that continues to captivate her to this day. Yuki’s research interests focus on paraphrasing and NLP technology for language education and healthcare. She serves as the Conference Officer for the ACL Executive Committee and Director of the Association for Natural Language Processing, Japan.

2006年大阪大学工学部電子情報エネルギー工学科卒業。2007年同大学院情報科学研究科博士前期課程、2010年同博士後期課程修了。博士（情報科学）。同年、北京のMicrosoft Researchに入社、自然言語処理に関する研究開発に従事。2014年より大阪大学大学院情報科学研究科マルチメディア工学専攻准教授、2024年より東京科学大学（旧東京工業大学）情報理工学院教授、現在に至る。 言い換え表現認識および生成、それらを応用した言語学習支援、医療言語処理に興味を持つ。 ACL Executive Committee Conference Officer、言語処理学会理事。

ASAKO KANEZAKI received the B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in information science and technology from The University of Tokyo, in 2008, 2010, and 2013, respectively. From 2013 to 2016, she was an Assistant Professor with The University of Tokyo. She was with the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), from 2016 to 2020. Since 2020, she has been an Associate Professor with the Institute of Science Tokyo (formerly, Tokyo Institute of Technology). Her current research interests include object detection, 3D shape recognition, and robot applications, such as semantic mapping and visual navigation.

2008年3月東京大学工学部卒業．2013年3月同大学院同研究科博士課程修了，博士（情報理工学）．同大学院同研究科助教を経て，2016年4月より産業技術総合研究所人工知能研究センター勤務．2020年4月より東京工業大学准教授，現在に至る．機械学習を用いた三次元物体認識，物体検出，ロボットビジョン，Embodied AIの研究に従事．

Takayuki Itoh received his M.S. from the Graduate School of Science and Engineering, Waseda University in 1992.  He was a researcher at IBM Tokyo Research Laboratory since the same year.  He received a Ph.D.  (Engineering) from Waseda University in 1997. He was appointed as a research fellow (equivalent to Associate Professor) at Kyoto University in 2003. In 2005, he became an associate professor at the Department of Information Science, Ochanomizu University, and a professor in 2011. He was appointed as a professor at the Department of Humanities Data Engineering in 2024.

1992年早稲田大学大学院理工学研究科修士課程修了。同年日本アイ・ビー・エム(株)東京基礎研究所研究員。1997年早稲田大学にて博士(工学)。2003年京都大学大学院COE研究員(助教授相当)兼職。2005年お茶の水女子大学理学部情報科学科助教授。2011年同大学教授。2024年同大学共創工学部文化情報工学科兼担。

Rieko Inaba is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Liberal Arts, Tsuda University. She received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Science from Japan Women’s University in 1998, 2000, 2003.  She was an Assistant Professor with the National Institute of Multimedia Education (now the Open University of Japan), a visiting researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the United States, a research fellow at the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology, and a lecturer at the Graduate School of Informatics, Kyoto University. She joined Tsuda University as an Associate Professor in 2013 and was promoted to Professor in 2022. Her research focuses on «designing communication,» including multilingual communication support and the utilization of ICT in education.

津田塾大学 学芸学部情報科学科 教授。1998年3月日本女子大学理学部卒業。2000年3月同大学院理学研究科博士前期課程，2003年3月同博士後期課程修了。博士（理学）。メディア教育開発センター（現・放送大学），米国・マサチューセッツ工科大学客員研究員，（独）情報通信研究機構専攻研究員，京都大学情報学研究科 特定講師を経て，2013年より津田塾大学 准教授，2022年より現職。「コミュニケーションをデザインする」をテーマに，多言語間コミュニケーション支援や教育におけるICT利活用の研究に従事。

Yoko Ono received her Ph.D. in Computational Statistics from Tokyo University of Science. She focuses her work on what can only be accomplished by humans. She has been engaged in research on bias in Data Science ethics, DEI in Data Science, and construction of an automatic proof system for abstract mathematical theorems using higher order logic. In her role as a Women in Data Science (WiDS) TOKYO @ Otsuma Women’s University ambassador, she invites people from diverse backgrounds into Data Science and connects them.

東京理科大学 工学研究科博士課程修了，博士（工学）．研究テーマは，「ひとでないとできないことは何か，データから探求し，ストーリーを紡ぐこと」．データサイエンス倫理におけるバイアス，データサイエンスと多様性，高階論理を用いた抽象数学定理自動証明システム構築などの研究に従事．Women in Data Science (WiDS) TOKYO @ Otsuma Women’s Universityアンバサダーとして，データサイエンスに多様なひとを呼びこみ、混ぜあい，繋いでいる．

Namiko Saito is a senior researcher at Microsoft Research Asia – Tokyo since January 2025. She received her B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Waseda University, Japan, in 2018, 2020, and 2022, respectively. From 2023 to 2024, she was a postdoctoral researcher affiliated with the Alan Turing Institute and the University of Edinburgh, UK. She has been in her current position since January 2025. She received the IEEE ICRA Best Paper Award in Cognitive Robotics in 2021, and the Frontiers of Science Awards at the First International Congress of Basic Science in 2023. Her research interests include embodied AI, robot manipulation, and multimodal learning.

Microsoft Research Asia – Tokyoのシニアリサーチャーを務める。早稲田大学にて総合機械工学を専攻し、2018年に学士号、2020年に修士号、2022年に博士号を取得。2023-2024年に、英国アラン・チューリング研究所およびエディンバラ大学に所属しポスドク研究員として研究に従事した。2025年1月より現職。2021年にIEEE ICRA Best Paper Award in Cognitive Robotics、2023年にThe First International Congress of Basic Science, Frontiers of Science Awardsを受賞。研究分野は、Embodied AI、ロボットマニピュレーション、マルチモーダル学習など。

Akiko Komatsu is a support engineer for Microsoft 365 products at Microsoft Japan. She joined Microsoft in 2016 and at the same time enrolled in the doctoral program of Information Science at Ochanomizu University. She researched face cartoon generation systems and received a Ph.D. from Ochanomizu University in 2022.

日本マイクロソフトのサポートエンジニアとして、Microsoft 365 製品を使用する企業の技術サポートを担当。2016 年に日本マイクロソフトへの入社と同時に、社会人博士としてお茶の水女子大学 情報科学科の博士課程に進学。大学では似顔絵生成に関する研究に取り組み、2022 年に情報科学科の博士号を取得。

Reina Ishikawa is a first-year Ph.D. student in the Graduate School of Science and Technology at Keio University, under the supervision of Professor Hideo Saito. She is also a Research Associate (fixed-term, research incentive) at the university. Reina received her M.Sc. in Science and Technology from Keio University in 2023, where she mainly focused on two topics: soft object manipulation for arm robots and machine learning, and novel view synthesis using a focal stack for virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR) applications. After completing her master’s degree, she worked as an anime and game marketer at GREE Entertainment, Inc. in Japan from April 2023 to December 2023. Building upon this industry experience, Reina is pursuing her Ph.D. research, which focuses on «Assistance in Anime Production Using Generative AI.»

石川玲奈は、慶應義塾大学大学院理工学研究科、斎藤英雄研究室の博士課程1年生であり、助教（有期・研究奨励）も務めている。2023年に慶應義塾大学情報工学科にて修士（工学）の学位を取得。修士課程においては、アームロボットのための機械学習を用いた柔らかい物体の把持の研究や，VR/ARアプリケーションのためのフォーカルスタックを用いた多層シーン表現の研究などに従事した。 修士課程を修了後は、2023年4月から2023年12月まで、GREEエンターテインメント株式会社にてアニメおよびゲームのマーケターとして勤務。この業界での経験を活かし、現在は博士課程の研究テーマとして「生成 AI によるアニメ制作補佐に関する研究 」に取り組んでいる。

Ayaka Yasunaga received her M.Sc. in Science and Technology from Keio University in September 2024. She is a first-year Ph.D. student at Keio University, under the supervision of Professor Hideo Saito. Her research interests include computer vision and augmented reality (AR). During her Master’s program, she primarily focused on view sampling with error visualization in multi-plane image. Building upon this experience, she is currently highly engaged in her research on “AR Guidance for View Sampling Using Object Complexity Evaluation”.

2024年9月、慶應義塾大学大学院理工学研究科前期博士課程修了。同年9月より同研究科後期博士課程に進学し、現在博士課程1年に在籍。斎藤英雄教授のご指導のもと、コンピュータビジョンおよび拡張現実 (AR) に関する研究に従事。修士課程では、多層シーン表現の誤差可視化による自由視点画像生成のための拡張現実型多視点撮影手法の研究を行った。この経験を活かし、現在は「物体の複雑性評価を活用した多視点撮影手法」に関する研究に取り組んでいる。

Ayaka Maruyama received the B.S. in Computer Science from Tsuda University in 2023 and the M.S. from its Graduate School of Science in 2025. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in the same program. Her research interests focus on Entertainment Computing and Human-Computer Interaction. She was recognized as a Super Creator in the 2023 Exploratory IT Human Resources Project (The MITOU Program) by the Information-technology Promotion Agency, Japan (IPA).

2023年津田塾大学学芸学部情報科学科卒業。2025年同大学理学研究科情報科学専攻修士課程修了。同年より同後期博士課程、現在に至る。エンタテインメントコンピューティング、ヒューマンコンピュータインタラクションの研究に興味を持つ。独立行政法人情報処理推進機構2023年度未踏IT人材発掘・育成事業スーパークリエータ認定。

She joined Accenture Strategy n in April 2011, where she was engaged in sustainability-related and talent & organizational consulting. In 2017, she joined Microsoft Japan’s HR division as a Business Manager, leading the launch and execution of various HR initiatives. She then served as an HR Business Partner for five years, supporting a wide range of people-related strategies. Since August 2024, she has been part of the University Recruiting team, focusing on identifying and nurturing early-in-career talent. She holds a Master of Public Policy from Kyoto University and an MBA from Lancaster University.

2011年4月にアクセンチュア経営コンサルティング本部に入社し、サステナビリティ領域および人材・組織管理に関するコンサルティング業務に従事。2017年より日本マイクロソフトにて人事本部のビジネスマネージャーとして、人事関連プロジェクトの立ち上げや推進を担当。その後、5年間にわたりHRビジネスパートナーとして幅広い人事課題に取り組む。2024年8月より新卒採用チームに異動し、次世代の人材発掘と育成に注力している。京都大学公共政策大学院にて公共政策修士号を、ランカスター大学にてMBAを取得。

Masashi Sugiyama received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan, in 2001. After serving as an assistant and associate professor at the same institute, he became a professor at the University of Tokyo in 2014. Since 2016, he has also served as the director of the RIKEN Center for Advanced Intelligence Project. His research interests include theories and algorithms of machine learning. He was awarded the Japan Academy Medal in 2017 and the Commendation for Science and Technology by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan in 2022.

２００１年東京工業大学博士課程修了．博士（工学）．同学の助手，助教授・准教授を経て，２０１４年より東京大学教授．２０１６年より理化学研究所革新知能統合研究センター長を併任．機械学習の理論とアルゴリズムに関する研究に従事．２０１４年文部科学大臣表彰若手科学者賞, ２０１７年第13回日本学士院学術奨励賞, 第13回日本学術振興会賞, ２０２２年度科学技術分野の文部科学大臣表彰科学技術賞研究部門を受賞．

Ikuko Tsumura is a Research Administrator at RIKEN AIP, responsible for public relations, collaborative research projects, international partnerships, and diversity initiatives. She leads projects promoting women’s participation in research and received the 2024 RIKEN BAIHO Award for her contributions. She earned a Master of Medical Administration from Tokyo Medical and Dental University in 2017 and a Ph.D. in Education from Tokyo University of Foreign Studies in 2020. Her expertise includes promoting ICT tools to support elderly people and advancing women’s career development in STEM fields.

理研AIPにて高度研究支援専門職として、広報、産学・国際連携、ダイバーシティ推進に従事。女性活躍推進ではプロジェクトマネージャーを務め、2024年度理研梅峰賞を受賞。2017年に東京医科歯科大学大学院修士課程（医療政策管理学）修了、2020年に東京外国語大学大学院博士課程（博士・教育）修了。専門は、ICTを活用した高齢者支援と、STEM分野における女性のキャリア形成支援。

Mawo Kamakura is a founding member and Deputy Director of Microsoft Research Asia – Tokyo, where she works closely with the Senior Director to establish and grow Microsoft Research’s new lab in Tokyo, Japan. She also serves as the Manager of the Microsoft Research Accelerator Japan, overseeing research-driven collaborations across the country. Her role includes fostering partnerships with leading academic institutions, industrial research organizations, and startups to accelerate innovation and scientific discovery. Mawo leads initiatives to develop and promote academic programs that nurture top research talent and strengthen alumni networks. She also contributes to business development efforts grounded in world-class AI research. She joined Microsoft Research in 2017. Prior to that, she was a Project Researcher at The University of Tokyo. Mawo holds a Master’s degree and completed the Ph.D. program at the Graduate School of Interdisciplinary Information Studies, The University of Tokyo, and earned her Bachelor’s degree from Japan Women’s University. She was selected Research Fellowship for Young Scientist (DC1) – awarded as an excellent young researcher and a visiting research student at King’s College London, UK as Excellent Young Researcher by Japanese Society for Promotion Science(JSPS).

鎌倉 真音は、Microsoft Research Asia – Tokyo の創設メンバーであり、デピュティディレクターを務める。東京に新設された Microsoft Researchの立ち上げにおいて、シニアディレクターと連携しながらその発展に取り組んでいる。また、Microsoft Research Accelerator Japanのマネージャーとして、日本国内のトップアカデミア、産業界、スタートアップなどとの研究連携を推進し、イノベーションの加速に貢献している。優秀な研究人材の育成を目的としたアカデミックプログラムの企画・運営や、卒業生ネットワークの強化にも注力しながら、世界トップレベルのAI研究を基盤としたビジネス開発にも携わり、日本全域をカバーしている。2017年に Microsoft Research に入社。それ以前は、東京大学にて特任研究員として勤務。東京大学大学院学際情報学府にて修士号を取得し、博士課程単位取得退学。学振DC１ならびにJSPS優秀若手研究者海外派遣プログラムによりキングスカレッジロンドンにて訪問研究員。学士号は日本女子大学で取得。
