Make thoughtful greeting cards with AI

A good greeting card can convey a personal touch or emotional connection. Write thoughtful, customized greeting cards with AI that make a difference for their recipients.

Why use AI to create greeting cards?

It’s easy to want to send a note to someone you care about. Maybe you want to congratulate them on a promotion and a hand-written note feels like the best option. Use AI to personalize your message and convey the right tone. In addition, if you’re writing a lot of thank you notes after a big event, AI speeds up the writing process considerably while maintaining sincerity.

What to write in a greeting card

Before you start writing, consider why you’re sending a card in the first place. There are several common reasons to send a card, like a birthday, holiday, or marriage, and each requires its own special touch based on the recipient.

Once you’ve determined why you’re sending a greeting card, think about the “who.” Who are you sending a greeting card to and what is their relationship with you? This will determine the tone of your message, like whether you can be silly and lighthearted or formal and professional. For example, if you’re sending a thank-you note to your CEO it will probably have a different tone than a thank-you note to a close friend.

How to make a greeting card with AI

Use AI to guide the process of writing your greeting cards. Provide it with details like the recipient, their relationship with you, the tone you want to convey, and the reason for the card. Try it out with these or your own example prompts:

  • Write a punny birthday card for my 38-year-old cousin who loves dogs.
  • My favorite coworker is retiring after teaching for 30 years. Help me write a heartfelt card to her thanking her for her friendship and guidance.
  • My husband and I have been married for seven years. Write a silly, rhyming poem about marriage with references to Thailand in it. Keep it to under 100 words.

If you’ve written your own note, but aren’t completely satisfied, let AI revise the tone, fix grammar, or make it more personal:

  • Edit the attached text and make it more sentimental: [note].
  • Review the attached greeting card text and check for grammatical errors: [card].
  • Suggest edits that would make this note to my sister more personal: [note]. She just moved across the country, and I want to convey how much I miss her.

If you need to write a large batch of greeting cards at once, AI can save time by writing multiple messages quickly and helping with personalization:

  • Create five variations of a thank-you note to members of my team at work, thanking them for all their hard work this quarter and celebrating how we met our sales goals.
  • Attached is a list of people and important details: [list]. Write a personalized holiday note for each person that’s under 100 words with a warm and heartfelt tone.
