In May 2025, Microsoft for Startups Africa is hitting the road, bringing the energy of innovation and collaboration to four of Africa’s leading tech and startup hubs: Lagos, Nairobi, Dakar, and Cape Town.

In partnership with Niche and Narrative, we’ll be hosting a series of dynamic events designed to strengthen our partnerships with the African startup ecosystem, highlight Azure’s AI capabilities, and foster new connections among founders, funders, and ecosystem leaders.

Startups who take advantage of attending the Microsoft for Startups Africa AI + Azure Tour will have the opportunity to engage in:

  • Investor and Ecosystem Leader Roundtables: Invite-only sessions focused on gathering insights around partnership strategies, driving innovation funding, and collaborating more closely across ecosystems.
  • Startup Networking Evenings and AI + Azure Showcases: Open sessions for startups to learn about Azure’s AI tools, network with Microsoft leaders, and explore new ways to power growth with cloud technology.

To ensure we have the opportunity to meet a range of African founders, Microsoft for Startups has planned to host events in the following cities and countries:

All while learning more about the potential opportunities that are unique to each ecosystem.

Engaging community partners
