I am a Researcher at the Media Computing Group, Microsoft Research Asia. My research is primarily focused on neural compression and probabilistic models. I completed my educational journey at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), earning a B.S. degree in 2019 and a Ph.D. degree in 2024, both from the School of Information Science and Technology. During 2023, I was fortunate to visit the Machine Learning Group in University of Cambridge, which is an important period to me. My first-author paper won the Best Paper Award of IEEE Trans. on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology (TCSVT) 2025. I also have several academic papers published in top conference including NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR etc.
