I am a Senior Researcher in the Data Systems Group (opens in new tab) at Microsoft Research Redmond (opens in new tab). I received my Ph.D. in the Database System Lab at Simon Fraser University (opens in new tab), advised by Prof. Jiannan Wang (opens in new tab).

My research interest is in Bridging the Gap Between Database and Data Science, including applying ML to database applications and accelerating query processing and data accessing for data science tasks.
