Mike Shepperd is a Principal R&D Engineering Manager at Microsoft Research, leading a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, designers, and technology consultants who work with teams across MSR to bridge the gaps between research ideas and their successful implementation. He is also the manager of the MSR Hardware Lab (opens in new tab) in Redmond, WA.
Mike’s expertise spans most areas of technology, logistics, systems, software, and platforms. He has been solving complex problems to drive the success of research projects across all disciplines in MSR. Mike is currently working on multiple research projects to design datacenters, servers, and related technology systems for the future.
