Research Bits: Lori Clarke and Wei Le
- Lori Clarke and Wei Le | University of Massachusetts, Rochester Institute of Technology
- Faculty Summit 2013
“Research Bits” provide a glimpse into the research being conducted around the world through brief interviews with researchers.
- First, Lori Clarke from the University of Massachusetts is investigating what we have learned in software engineering and how to apply that to medical processes to reduce errors and improve efficiency and safety.
- At 2:24, Wei Le from the Rochester Institute of Technology detects bugs in software and finds solutions for them. She explains that, as new software becomes more complex, it becomes increasingly challenging to find (and remove) new types of software bugs.
Field correspondent Josephine Cheng conducted these interviews during the Microsoft Research Faculty Summit 2013.
