How Pirch blends physical with digital tech to innovate home appliance buying experience
In the retail industry’s quest for customer-centric and personalized shopping experiences, digital technology is playing a transformative role.
And in the still largely analog world of blueprints and designs, luxury appliance retailer Pirch is embracing digital to deliver an innovative approach to the home appliance buying process and transform the customer experience.
One way they are doing this is by arming their personal Lifestyle Experience Advisors (LEA) with Surface Pro 4s as they guide their customers through their showrooms. By blending the physical with digital, they can more easily help guests create the home of their dreams. For example, when a customer sees the perfect oven, their LEA can quickly tap into PirchAdvisor, the company’s full platform, to access and add to the customer’s preferences and designs, check product availability and pricing, schedule follow-ups and more, all without having to leave their side.
As Craig Hills, director of digital operations at Pirch says in this new video, “the ultimate goal for the customer here is to experience joy, from the moment that they walk through the store, from when they interact with us digitally online, through working with an LEA, through finding what they want to do in terms of a proposal. And digitally we want to make sure that we are capitalizing on PirchAdvisor and the hardware that we’re using to drive the most efficiencies out of that, the most amount of joy we can in the shortest possible time. We quickly realized that only the Surface Pro 4 was capable of meeting all those needs…”
